Yea it would speed up the system by a few % on low ram systems, but it would take longer for first startups due to the slow USB write speed. Just throw in a few GB of ram more and you will be running faster than ever.
Now SSDs made the readyboost non-existent, since they have excellent random IOPS and R/W speeds the USB cache would just be in the way. |
