There are many stereotypes about gamers:
-males
-dull people
-fat and lazy
-ugly and boring
-possibly have emotional problems, and maybe violent.
Survey found that most gamers:
-are the same as normal people.
-do not spend all their time playing games.
-do not spend all their time alone.
-live normal life and have normal friends.
-unlikely to commit violence against others.
-as many women as men play video games.
Gaming has become a normal hobby. The stereotypical image of gamers doesn't seem

Stereotypes come from reality. There must be some basis. Perhaps the key lies in the word "most".

We cannot say for sure that such facts as the one said above are false or true to an aspect. Because, studies are still lacking... Of course, there have been cases of children growing violent, and gone to such measures as to kill there parent for taking there games away... But, since we are talking about adults here (I believe), then they should take the responsibility for their actions, for good or bad.

Well, this is a common symptoms/ effect caused by overly indulged in gaming. Although there will always be someone who are different from what is written here, but it is still easy to say these persist in all gamers. The differences is just the degree of these symptoms in every gamers. Though there will always be incorrect assessment.

Gamer nowadays are also anti-social they can't speak their mind.
I'd still think that it always depends on their surroundings like status, parents and friends for example.
