I have similar thoughts at early stage but I changed my mind later... This is not a normal TV anime (it is classified as 15x type!) and Makoto is one of the worst character I have ever seem in TV anime series. It should not have a normal ending.
In my opinion, the ending should be imaginative (i.e. different from the game)... Makoto should be slashed by Kotonoha but unfortunately, that seems quite unlikely according to the progress in last year.
It is very likely that there is bloody scene (as there is ambulance sound) but I am not very sure which charater is hurt. If Makoto still alive, I just hope that both Kotonoha and Sekai is being treated fairly as an "official" ending...
I agree with you in game version but not in anime version because he is really irrsponsible in the recent chapters. For example, would you blame your GF if she told you that she has your baby and would you still have mood to date with other girls... (I think I would lock myself in my room for 3 days and 3 nights and then tell my parents and then prepare for the worst...)
Just wait for 24 hours more to see what is the "official ending".
It seems that we have to wait for many many hours or we are unable to see if the original ending, oops... but I am interested to see whether the murderer is stimulated by SD.
