the SLG or RPG produced by famous firms like Esuhally or Alice will draw my attention and interests, the others as adv are merely the CG show for me. So it depends on the quality of games. Actually, as my age goes by, galgames attract me less and less.

play the game. visual novel is made of CG and the story (plus voices). harmony of the whole stuff is needed.

Mostly, I would choose watching, playing game is kind of time-consuming, and I will play only if the story attract me.

well, depends, if it got good story, then ill play it instead of collecting the hcg.
of course, if its a rpg game, ill definitely play it instead of collecting the hcg.

Nukige : I have some preferences for nukige, so I will see the CGs first and if it's satisfying, I will play it
Others : I will just play it straight away

It depends on which type of game I play.
Mostly I play the game.  But sometimes especially the story is boring, I watch the HCG.
